Genieve Sanchez is a native New Mexican who holds a bachelor’s degree from New Mexico State University and a master’s degree from he University of New Mexico.  This 34 year old balances her love of fitness, creative writing, and freelance graphic design with her career as a landscape architect/urban designer and marketing coordinator for a commercial real estate company.  Genieve is no stranger to athletics.  She played college basketball and has won numerous top awards in her more than 20 years of athletic sports experiences.

After graduate school, Genieve decided to take her competitive skills to the next level by literally transforming her body during the past three years to compete at both regional and national level fitness competitions.  Genieve’s dedication and passion for competition helped her make a strong statement as an up and coming athlete/model in the fitness industry.  Her transformation story has inspired many and was featured in he country’s premier female fitness magazine, OXYGEN, in March of 2011.

The past three years she has expanded her athleticism into the sport of amateur boxing scoring a record of 4-0 her rookie year.  Genieve also has a passion for strength sports, competed in powerlifting and cross-fit she has set over 6 state records with her strength and athletic abilities.

During her career she has landed a well-known sponsors in the fitness industry, Kinesio Tape as a product model, featured columnist, and recently was the cover model of their Advanced Healing Magazine.  In addition the recognized athlete signed on with fighter/fitness publication, the KNUXX, as a contributing writer for her column Fitness Focus.  Genieve also joined the Sore No More team for 3 years and become a sponsored athlete for another sport/athletic product.

Recognized for her diverse athletic, modeling, social networking and creative marketing talents in the industry, Genieve has recently joined Abq-Live Entertainment as a promotional model, graphic designer and columnist for their magazine.  In addition, her graphic design skills have caught the eye of the Fitness Universe Tour president, who in turn offered Genieve the opportunity to design regional show posters.  Merging it all together, Genieve is currently working on launching her “Athlete’s Angle” brand, which markets her talents as a Competitor, Model, Athlete, Graphic Designer, Blogger and Columnist in the fitness industry.

Now, this proven athlete is seeking exposure and promotional opportunities in the fitness industry. With her social media following and ability to connect with fitness enthusiasts of all levels, this athlete is the type of dedicated ambassador any company would eagerly have join their team.
